Class Description:

In this free demo, painting instructor Karen O’Neil shows you how to paint a vivid still life using oils. Beginning with the organization of your color palette, O’Neil outlines which paints to use and how to mix them with your palette knife to create perfect colors. Blues and greens come together to construct form as O’Neil paints from a still life that can be easily replicated at home. In this short demonstration, you'll get a sense of what it's like to take a class on e-telier™, The Art Students League's platform for atelier-style virtual classes in drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media, printmaking, and more.
